As a Founder and CEO of DIA Ventures, Mr. Yan is a senior partner and visionary who lead the company for more than 15 years from the very beginning through periods of strong economic growth and two major recessions. His unique approach to growing business is built upon the integration of strategy and analytics. Altogether he has advised Fortune 100 clients in financial services, telecom, insurance and other industries for more than 25 years through engagements covering the full customer life cycle spectrum, both in the US and International markets.
Mr. Yan developed a sensitivity-based framework for pricing and line assignment which has been adopted and implemented by top banks in the U.S. Additionally, Mr. Yan and his modeling team won a 2nd Place Overall in the KDD Cup competition and a 2nd Prize in a Netflix sponsored global analytics contest.

Mr. Yan pursued his PhD in Economics and Game Theory at SUNY Stony Brook. He holds an MA in Economics from SUNY Stony Brook, an MS in Computer Science from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a BS in Management Sciences from the University of Science and Technology of China.
